October 7, 2016, national security agencies officially reported their analysis that Russia was interfering with the election in favor of Trump, surprising no one. However, Trump defends Russia and refuses to accept the analysis of hundreds of national security experts in 17 federal agencies, virtually all Senators and Congressmen and independent cyber security experts that Russia interfered with the election on behalf of Trump. Trump claims to have information that only he knows regarding Russia's cyber hacking, probably through his many contacts with Russia. Trump also prefers the flaky lies of his brain, Julian Assange (Russia's agent to get Trump elected, and under indictment for rape), white supremacists and The National Enquirer. For risking American lives an interfering with the election in his favor, Trump says he loves Wikileaks/Assange. Trump's defense of Russia exemplifies the tragedy of his wide conflicts of interests, which made him millions of dollars post election and prior to innauguration and is estimated to generate $4 billion for his wallet in the first 100 days in office.
January 5, 2017, testimony before Congress in a hearing organized in part because of Trump's degradation of our national security agencies revealed 1. that US national intelligence agencies are even stronger now in their determination that Russia interfered with the election in favor of Trump than they were October 7, 2016, 2. that NO intelligence agency is involved with Trump's plan to downsize and degrade US national security, which appears intended to further enable Russia's interference with American democracy, and 3. that Russia perpetrated fake news against Hillary Clinton (in parallel with Trump's campaign), 4. that Trump's disparagement of US national security agencies is demoralizing agency officials, staff and foreign governments, 5. that the Russian government celebrated Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton as a geopolitical win for Moscow, and 6. that it is the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment that Moscow’s efforts were aimed at getting Trump elected. (After the meeting, Trump, still mostly dismissive, remained in opposition to the national security agencies conclusion that Russian interfered with the election. Trump did not acknowledge that Russia hacked this election, exonerating his business partner Russia once again. For Trump, our national security professionals are incompetent, the claim he made against our military during the campaign. Trump continues to keep secret the information he claims he knows and promised to reveal January 3 or 4, 2017, likely from his Russian partners, about Russia's cyber attacking.)
Jan 6, 2017, the national security unclassified report was released. A Russian covert operation designed to undermine American democracy evolved into an attempt to help Donald Trump win, according to the declassified version of a long-awaited intelligence report released Friday. "We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the U.S. presidential election. Russia's goals were to undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump." (Trump effectively dismisses the report and work of thousands of national security officers, calling their work a "political witchhunt.")
Without Russia's interference directly ordered by Putin (cyber attacks against the Democratic Party and Clinton campaign chief John Podesta, and fake news to boost Trump and undermine Clinton), which Trump said he loved and asked Russia for more, Trump would not have won. Trump is illegitimate, and acts as such. Because of his ongoing attempts to cover up intensely criminal activity of Russia and spitting on our national security agencies, there is no way that Trump can make America safe.
Moreover, Trump insists that US national security agencies be investigated for their PUBLIC report. Trump is not calling for investigation into Russia's role and collaboration with Trump to interfere with the election for Trump.
Trump degrades national security and makes the US less safe. On behalf of Russia and his personal wealth, Trump hopes that the American people will lose confidence in our national intelligence agencies and officers. Adding to his ridicule of US national security agencies and the many officers putting their life on the line, in rataliation for concluding the Russian interference Trump announced plans to downsize and degrade the national security structure (because he disagrees with the assessments about Russia based on imaginary knowledge), enhancing his damage to national security and American democracy.
Trump's election was yet another Trump fraud, ably enabled this time by Russian President Vladimir Putin and FBI Director James Comey. This collaborative effort is the most profound act of treason in US history. "It is the assessment of the intelligence community that Russia’s goal here was to favor one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected. That’s the consensus view." (CIA, Dec 9, 2016)Russia has attacked the United States. No wonder Trump admires Putin, encouraged Russia's cyberattacking the election in his favor, meets so often with Russian business partners and is considered a Russian oligarch. The 2016 US Presidential election was stolen by Russia with assist from Comey for Trump, and combined with Trump's business enrichment from the White House places the US at serious risk and denigrates the fundamental meaning of America since its founding. An American tragedy. Dec 10, Sen. Lindsay Graham said, "Don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out what Russia is up to -- they're trying to undermine democracies all over the world. Russia is trying to break the backs of democracies – and democratic movements – all over the world. I do believe that the Russians hacked into the DNC, I do believe they hacked into [Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John] Podesta's email account, they hacked into my campaign account. I do believe that all the information released publicly hurt Clinton, didn't hurt Trump." Using Trump, Putin succeeded in degrading America. Putin determined the outcome of the presidential election; shame on America. Shamefully, congressional republican leaders argued against informing voters prior to the election.
If Hillary Clinton did what Trump and his congressional collaborators are doing, they would be calling the election illegitimate, would declare Clinton an illegitimate president, would call on the electoral college to seat Trump instead of Clinton, citing the Founders’ view that electors existed for precisely this purpose and would accuse Clinton of being an agent of a foreign government and treason.
"We need a new election. This is a constitutional crisis. It’s unprecedented. If the CIA had hacked and steered a democratic election in a foreign country, say France or Germany, that country would demand a new election. No question," said Bob Baer, a former CIA operative. "There’s a real revolt going on. They don’t like [National Security Adviser nominee Michael] Flynn and they hate Trump’s guts. This is their whole life’s work being thrown out the door," said a former intelligence officer of the CIA.
Sadly, the treasonous Trump debacle has other egregious components.
"Trump lives and thrives in a fact-free environment. No president, including Richard Nixon, has been so ignorant of fact and disdains fact in the way this president-elect does. Richard Nixon was nothing, in terms of lying, compared to what we have seen from Donald Trump." (Carl Bernstein)
" Donald Trump’s open corruption: The president-elect doesn’t care that you know he’s crooked. Donald Trump ran a corrupt campaign, and he’ll be a corrupt president. Our newly elected president doesn’t even care to go through the motions of concealing his venality. He flaunts it. Just look at the way he ran his campaign. According to the latest Federal Election Commission filings, Trump directed close to $3 million in campaign funds towards Trump-owned properties between Oct. 20 and Nov. 28. The Huffington Post documented that Trump jacked up the rent at his Trump Tower campaign offices the moment he started taking public donations. As the election drew near, Trump held a non-campaign campaign event at his new hotel in Washington. he’s confident that, as a wealthy and powerful individual, he’ll skate without anyone giving him too much grief." (Simon Maloy)
"Donald Trump hasn’t been sworn in yet, but he is already making decisions and issuing statements to world leaders that radically depart from American foreign policy, all to the benefit of his family’s corporate empire. Because of this, the next president of the United States is already vulnerable to undue influence by other nations, including through bribery and even blackmail. Some of the most egregious conflicts that have emerged involve countries in Asia and its subregions, particularly the Philippines. Despite universal condemnation of the ongoing slaughter of Filipinos, Trump signaled his approval of Duterte’s policies during a phone call on December 2. The Trump family’s dealings in the Philippines will set off a constitutional crisis on the first day of Trump’s presidency, if anyone in the federal government decides to abide by the law. Extradition Swap? In 2008, the Trump Organization struck a multimillion-dollar branding deal with the Dogan Group, a large corporation named after its influential family, for a two-tower complex in Istanbul. In 2012, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presided over the opening ceremonies and met with Trump. In July, members of the Turkish military attempted a coup. Erdogan crushed the plotters, and his government has arrested more than 36,000 suspected participants and shut down 17 media outlets. The primary culprit, Erdogan declared almost immediately, was Fethullah Gülen, a 77-year-old Muslim spiritual leader who has lived in Pennsylvania’s Poconos region for many years. Erdogan demanded that the Obama administration extradite Gülen to face charges related to the coup.Enter Donald Trump. The day of the U.S. election, the news site The Hill published an article by Lieutenant General Michael T. Flynn, who has since been named as Trump’s national security adviser. “The forces of radical Islam derive their ideology from radical clerics like Gülen, who is running a scam,” Flynn wrote. “We should not provide him safe haven…. It is imperative that we remember who our real friends are.” That article, according to the financier with contacts in the Turkish government, led Erdogan and his associates to believe a Trump administration would not demand more evidence to justify deporting Gülen. So, almost immediately, Erdogan stopped condemning Trump and instead voiced support for him. The day after the U.S. election, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim issued a statement directly linking his country’s good wishes for Trump with its desire to get Gülen back. “We congratulate Mr. Trump. I am openly calling on the new president from here about the urgent extradition of Fethullah Gülen, the mastermind, executor and perpetrator of the heinous July 15 coup attempt, who lives on U.S. soil.” In a telephone call that same day with Erdogan, Trump passed on compliments to the Turkish president from a senior official with his company’s business partner on the Istanbul project, whom the president-elect was reported to have called “a close friend.” The official, Mehmet Ali Yalcindag, is the son-in-law of Dogan Holding owner Aydin Dogan and was instrumental in the development of the Trump complex in Turkey. That Trump delivered messages from his business partner to Erdogan has been reported in numerous media outlets in Turkey, including some closely tied to the government, and has not been denied by Turkish officials or the Trump transition team. If Erdogan’s government puts more pressure on the company that’s paying millions of dollars to Trump and his children, revenue flowing from the tower complex in Istanbul could be cut off. That means Erdogan has leverage with Trump, who will soon have the power to get Gülen extradited. The financier with contacts in the Turkish government explained the dynamic to Newsweek: “Erdogan has something he believes Trump wants, and Trump has someone Erdogan desperately wants.” America is on the precipice of an unprecedented threat, as allies and enemies alike calculate whether they are dealing with a president they can please merely by enriching his children. President-elect Trump has a monumental choice before him: He can, as he promised during the campaign, protect the sanctity of the presidency—which he can do only by selling his company. Or he can remain corrupted by the conflicts between his country’s future and his family’s fortune. (Kurt Eichenwald)
For example, after pressure from Trump, the Kuwait government cancelled its business with The Four Seasons hotel to Trump International hotel. Trump is pressuring foreign governments for personal profit. This violates the US Constitution, a trivial empty piece of paper to Trump. The switch was made just days after an event at Trump’s D.C. hotel where 100 foreign diplomats gathered to discuss “how are we going to build ties with the new administration. Foreign diplomats have openly admitted that staying at the Trump's hotels is a chance to curry favor with Trump. Quid pro quo, foreign governments profitting Trump for favors.
Donald Trump has the proclivity to make impeachable threats, including frivolous lawsuits, against Americans and their First Amendment rights.
Trump's threats against the media are violations of the Constitution as well.
Trump's business conflicts are wide and deep. So is his bigotry and plans to sanction, jail without due process, deport or require special ID tags of Americans for being Muslim, Hispanic Americans and African Americans.
Trump's illicit profiting from government business is a near certainty. In fact, he uses government-funded meetings to benefit his private businesses. It would violate the US Constitution for Trump to take the oath of office for President.
Expanding the role of the KKK, white supremacists and anti-Semites in government will not be tolerated. Neither will Trump's emboldening of racists and sexists.
Supporters emboldened by Trump are threatening minorities across America. Trump called on his supporters to commit violence, especially against Muslims. Many have. The following letter is being left at mosques:
"To the Children of Satan, You muslims are a vile and filthy people. Your mothers are whores and your fathers are dogs. You are evil. But your day of reckoning has arrived. There's a new sheriff in town -- President Donald Trump. He's going to cleanse America and make it shine again. And, he's going to start with you muslims. He's going to do to you muslims what Hitler did to the jews. You muslims would be wise to pack your bags and get out of Dodge. This is a great time for Patriotic Americans. Long live President Trump and God bless the USA. Americans for a Better Way."
Trump's plans to commit war crimes and torture are serious matters, as are starting a frivolous war, starting a needless nuclear war, causing the death of American soldiers without due cause, and illicitly abandoning NATO and international treaties.
Trump reported to the IRS that his charity performed numerous illegal acts of self dealing. Trump admitted he broke the law.
Trump confirmed that he has continued to talk business while holding meetings as president-elect, adding "the president can't have a conflict of interest." (The previously most corrupt President, Richard Nixon, said, "when the president does it, that means it is not illegal." Both positions are egregiously illegal.) During the campaign, Trump steered millions of dollars of donors' contributions to his businesses. Ukraine donated $150,000 to Trump's charity for a September 2015 speech (said this would be illegal during the campaign). He promoted his properties widely. He started many new businesses in China and Saudi Arabia, likely elsewhere as well. Post election, Trump met with dozens of foreign leaders to promote his businesses, often with his daughter Ivanka in the room or on the phone to ensure business interests were met. He met with interim United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage to express opposition to wind farms in the United Kingdom so Trump's golf course would have a better view. Trump pressed Argentina's President about a stalled Trump business project there. International diplomats are staying at Trump hotels to gain favor with Trump. Protecting Trump cost NYC $1 million per day. Trump is using taxpayer funds, tens of millions of dollars, to securitize his Manhattan penthouse, his NY golf course and his Palm Beach ultra luxury club, Mar-a-Lago.
Dec 11: Trump blames Russian hack of US computers a fake news story. Trump claims that President Barrack Obama did the hacking.
Dec 12: Responding to Trump's attacks of China's sovereignty, China flies bomber with nuclear weapons over South China Sea. During the campaing, Trump called for nuclear confrontations and proliferation.
Dec 12: Someone close to Trump, perhaps Trump himself, sold substantial stock in Lockheed Martin right before Trump trashed the company in a tweet, which caused significant decline in stock value. The seller netted millions in profit from this large 'short sell' of stock. This is insider trading, it is illegal. It will explode during Trumps control of government. Trump will be the ultimate insider trader.
Dec 14: Trump's sons, Don Jr. and Eric, started a 'non profit' tax exempt charity to sell access to the President. For million-dollar payments, The Opening Day sells access. For $1 million, you are called 'Bald Eagle'. For $500,000, you are called 'Grizzly Bear'. For $250,000, you are called 'Elk'. And so on. The cheapest, for $25,000, you are called 'Wild Turkey'. The best corruption money can buy.
Prediction: Trump will spend at least $1 trillion from taxpayer revenues for his friends. Several will gain at least $1 billion. Some, several billion. Of course, so will Trump, whose friends will donate too with pleasure. A win-win for billionaires at taxpayer expense far more than ever before.
Dec 19: Newt Gingrich recommends that Trump pardons anyone in his administration who breaks the law, noting Ivanka Trump and husband Jared as examples. When Nixon tried this, he was removed from the Presidency. Gingrich wants Congress to change ethics rules for Trump (because he violates so many).
Jan 2: Two days after Trump promised that he would reveal what no one else knows about hacking of the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton's campaign chief (determined to be Russia by CIA/FBI/NSA/DNI and top Republican leaders in Congress), Trump announced: 1. through Sean Spicer, Trump's and Putin's White House Press Secretary, that there is no evidence of Russia's hacking (meaning that CIA/FBI/NSA/DNI and Republican leaders in Congress are lying) and 2. through Trump surrogate Rep. Steve King that CIA/FBI/NSA/DNI were the hackers, not Russia. Trump says there is no evidence against Russia but evidence that the US national intelligence community and Republican leaders in Congress were the perpetrators. Trump is now accusing US national intelligence agencies and Republican leaders in Congress with crimes and treason. This is how close Trump is with Russia, that he fabricates serious crimes against US national intelligence agencies. Trump will defend Russia and his business with Russia rather than accept US intelligence and Congressional assessment. Trump is corrupt, collaborating with Russia against the US and has convinced tens of millions of Americans to help destroy the United States for Trump's greed.
